Zuri and Ige
Karia and Juna meet Zuri in book two, “Traegonia The Ember Rune”. She resides within the mountains on the outer fringe of Traegonia, California. She moves with a grace born of wisdom. Her presence is commanding yet tender, a reflection of her role not only as a guardian and guide of her world but as the Mim of Ige, her smallest and most precious charge.
Ige is a bundle of boundless curiosity and innocent wonder, his bright eyes always wide with the marvels of their hidden world. His tiny stature and playful demeanor might make him seem fragile, but within him lies the spark of a new generation—a spark Zuri is determined to protect and nurture.
Zuri, strong and steady, watches over Ige with an unwavering gaze, her every movement a testament to the depth of her love. Yet, even she cannot help but smile as Ige tumbles clumsily through the forest, chasing after fireflies that dance just beyond his reach. Zuri is not merely a protector; she is a teacher, gently guiding Ige as he begins to understand the delicate balance of their world.
But their relationship is not one-sided. As much as Zuri teaches, Ige reminds her of the beauty in simplicity—the joy of chasing shadows, the thrill of discovering something new, and the hope that lives in every sunrise. Through Ige, Zuri sees the future of Traegonia: bright, untamed, and full of promise.
Together, they represent a beautiful piece of the whole of Traegonia. Zuri’s wisdom and strength, paired with Ige’s innocence and wonder, mirror the essence of their world—a balance of ancient knowledge and untapped potential. Their bond is a reminder that even in the smallest of creatures lies a spark that can ignite the greatest of changes, and that the love between a parent and child is one of the most enduring forms of magic.
